After an outstanding review by the Historical Novel Society (http://historicalnovelsociety.org/hnr-online-may-2010.htm) with a "highly recommended" rating, "Footsteps to Forever" was given the prestigious Editor's Choice Award by iUniverse. The author (R. Samuel Baty) will hold book signings at U.S. military installations in England in the October 2010 time frame.
"Footsteps to Forever" was reviewed recently by the Military Writers Society of America (MWSA), and it is listed in the MWSA Bookstore. The author has volunteered  to participate in activities at the Historical Novel Society conference in San Diego in June, 2011.

Due to the popularity of "Footsteps to Forever," the author has decided to make a four-novel series covering U.S. historical events from 1941 through 1975. The surviving characters will be carried from one novel to the next, and the series will include the crucial period of World War II through the Vietnam era. There will be cameo appearances by world leaders thoughout the time-frame. The author is presently writing the second book in the series and plans to have it completed by the end of 2010.
